    Day 1 : Bhubaneswar to Puri

    The Namaste India Trip representative will welcome you at Bhubaneswar and drive you to Puri where you will be booked for lodging. You can take rest this day. The night will be spent in the hotel earlier check into.

    Day 2 : Puri Tour

    Start day 2 with a walk to the nearby beach to get a spectacular view of sunrise. Get back to the hotel and enjoy a filling breakfast following which you will plunge into sightseeing and devotional time at the Jagannath Temple. You can spend the entire day exploring the architecture of this holy shrine and engulfing in spiritual learning. The place has an aura of divinity and you will find devotees from the entire country flocking in front of the temple to get a glimpse of the Lord Jagannath. In the evening you can check out the local market to get some souvenir for your loved ones. Spend the night in Puri.

    Day 3 : Puri to Chilka and Back to Puri

    After a sumptuous breakfast on day 3, you will get ready for a 50 km drive to the Chilika Lake. This lake is situated at Satapada which happens to be the largest brackish wetland in the Asian region and ranks among nature’s marvels. The lake connects with the Bay of Bengal through a narrow channel. Its blue water with ‘Isles of Hillocks’, the fascinating birds and fishermen in traditional boats is a view worth the trip you make to this place. You can also cruise up to the ‘Kalijai Temple’ which is famous for the ‘dolphin show’. Move on to Nalaban where migratory birds settle down during October and February, for a picturesque view. Get back to the hotel in Puri for the overnight stay.

    Day 4 : Puri to Konark to Bhubaneswar

    Post breakfast of day 4 start with a drive to Bhubaneswar via Konark. You will stop at Konark to visit the Sun Temple which is also called the ‘Black Pagoda’. The temple belongs to the 13th century and is well-known for its architectural details which include the ‘mythological chariot’ belonging to the ‘Sun God’. Its ‘Kalinga Temple’ style is awesome from every angle. When you reach Bhubaneswar you can visit the Parasurameswara Temple famous for ‘lattice windows’, the Lingaraj Temple and the Mukteshwar Temple – all famous for the Kalinga Art that they represent. Get a sunset view at the Khandagiri and Udayagiri twin hill ‘Jain Caves’. You will rest for the night at Bhubaneswar.

Exclusion

  • Air Fare/Train fare, insurance premium, any other activities like rafting, etc, services of guide during sightseeing, cable ride cost to Manakamana Temple & boat ride cost to Barahi Temple for which supplemental charges will be applicable to be paid by the guests directly.
  • Personal expenses such as laundry, telephone bills, bar bills, tips & gratuity, bottled water etc.
  • Entrance Fees for museums and monuments, Upgradation Charges and Optional Tours to be paid by the guests directly on the spot.
  • Any additional costs because of additional sightseeing or extra usage of vehicle other than mentioned in the itinerary will be recovered directly from the guests. Such additional costs are also applicable for usage of vehicle and guide beyond the specified time or normal working hours as mentioned above.
  • Any cost arising due to unforeseen events like flight delays or their rescheduling or cancellation, landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), etc. Such expenses will be recovered directly from the guests on the spot.
  • Any increase in government taxes or fuel price, leading to increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.

Advance Booking Fee

  • 30 days or more before date of departure : 25% of total cost
  • 29 - 20 days before date of departure : 50% of total cost
  • 19 days or less before date of departure : 100% of total cost

Cancellation Policy

You or any member of your party may cancel their travel arrangements at any time. Written notification or an e-mail to that effect from the person who made the booking must be received at our office. The cancellation charges applicable are as per the published cancellation policy below:

If we change or cancel your holiday We do plan the arrangements in advance. It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your travel arrangements. Occasionally, we may have to make changes and we reserve the right to do so at any time. If there are any changes, we will advise you of them at the earliest possible date. We also reserve the right under any circumstances to cancel your travel arrangements by assigning reasons to you.
