    Day 1 : Patna -Arrival –Kumrahar Buddhist Place Sightseeing

    After arrival in Patna , transfer to hotel. Check-in to hotel. After lunch explore Local Sightseeing of Patna . Visit Kumrahar which is ancient Buddhist Pilgrimage Place in Patna. Later, cover other sightseeing of Patna like Khuda Baksh Library , Patna Museum and Gol Ghar .

    Return to hotel. Have dinner and night stay at Patna.

    Day 2 : Patna –Nalanda (100 KM, 2 Hrs) Local Sightseeing -Rajgir Local Visit (40 KM, 45 Min)

    After breakfast, proceed to visit Nalanda . Visit ruins of ancient Nalanda University Archaeological Complex . After the walk around the ruins, visit the Xuan Zang Memorial Hall which is a Chinese Pagoda.

    After breakfast, we will drive to Rajgir the Ancient Capital of the Magadha Empire and is a pilgrimage for Buddhists. The Japanese Buddhists have built the massive Vishwa Shanti Stupa on the Ratnagiri Hill. The stupa has statues of Buddha at the four stages of his life - birth, enlightenment, teaching and death.

    Also visit Griddhakuta (Vulture Peak) which is another site where Lord Buddha stopped by to preach. Also visit Venuvan Kalakandanivapa and Bimbisar Prison . Later, check-in to hotel in Rajgir. Have dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Rajgir.

    Day 3 : Rajgir -Bodhgaya (80 KM, 2 Hrs) –Mahabodhi Temple & Bodhi Tree -Gaya (12 KM) -Dungeshwari Caves -Bodhgaya

    After breakfast, drive to Bodhgaya . Check in to hotel. Later visit Lord Buddha Temple (Mahabodhi Temple) . The Mahabodhi Temple is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and world famous Buddhist Pilgrimage place in India built adjacent to the site of enlightenment in the 6th century AD.

    Explore Local Sightseeing of Bodhgaya like Bodhi Tree and Buddhist Monasteries in Bodhgaya .

    Later we will drive to Bodhgaya, en-route visit Dungeshwari Cave Temples also known as the Mahakala Caves in Gaya . Lord Buddha underwent years of penance here before he descended to Bodhgaya and also visit Sujata Village Temple.

    Have dinner and overnight stay at hotel in Bodhgaya.

    Day 4 : Bodhgaya -Varanasi (300 KM, 6 Hrs) –Sarnath Sightseeing

    After breakfast, drive to Varanasi . Check in to hotel. Later, we will go for Day Excursion to Sarnath . Sarnath is the place where Lord Buddha Delivered His First Sermon at Deer Park (Rishipattana) .

    Visit famous ancient Buddhist Pilgrimages in Sarnath like Dhamekha Stupa , Chaukhandi Stupa and Mula Gandh Kuti Vihara . Also, explore Archaeological Museum of Sarnath (closed on Monday).

    Enjoy Evening Ritual Ceremony at Sri Lankan Buddhist Temple .

    OR, Attend the Meditation Session in Buddhist Monastery. Or we can arrange the sermon/preaching by Buddhist Monk.

    Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay in Varanasi.

    Day 5 : Varanasi -Morning Boat Ride –Shravasti (350 KM, 7 Hrs)

    Early morning feel spirituality of Subah-e-Banaras in Varanasi in which you will enjoy Morning Boat Ride in the Ganges during Sunrise . Experience the different Ghats of Varanasi like World’s Largest Cremation Ground Manikarnika Ghat and famous along with Harishchandra Ghat , Tulsi Ghat and Assi Ghat . Each Ghats has its own history and value.

    Come back to hotel for breakfast. Later, drive to Shravasti . Check in to hotel in Shravasti. Have dinner and overnight stay in Shravasti.

    Day 6 : Shravasti -Local Sightseeing of Saheth & Maheth –Lumbini (225 KM, 6 Hrs)

    After breakfast, visit Saheth (Jetvanaram) & Maheth (Angulimal Caves). Also cover Tourist Attractions of Shravasti like Ananda Bodhi Tree , Ghoshitaram Monastery , Angulimala's Stupa and Anathapindika's Stupa .

    After lunch, drive to Lumbini . Kindly obtain double entry visa for India & single entry visa for Nepal . On arrival, check in at hotel. Have dinner and stay at night at hotel in Lumbini.

    Day 7 : Lumbini Birthplace of Lord Buddha –Kapilvastu –Kushinagar (180 KM, 4 hrs)

    After breakfast, we will visit Holy Birth place of Siddhartha Gautama in Lumbini which also has Buddhist Monasteries and Nunnery.

    After lunch, drive to Childhood home of Gautama Buddha Kapilvastu . Enjoy the Local Sightseeing of Kapilvastu like Kapilvastu Kingdom Complex , Lumbini Garden Complex and Tilaurakot Museum .

    Later drive to Kushinagar. Check in to hotel. Have dinner and stay at night at hotel in Kushinagar.

    Day 8 : Kushinagar –Kesariya –Vaishali –Patna

    After Breakfast, visit Mahaparinirvana Temple (where Buddha took his last breathe and attained Mahaparinirvana), Rambhar Stupa also called Mukutbandhan Chaitya (cremation site of Lord Buddha) and Japan Temple .

    Later, drive to Patna en-route visit Kesaria to cover Biggest Ancient Buddhist Stupa - Kesaria Stupa .

    Again drive to visit Last Sermon Place of Lord Buddha in Vaishali . Later, visit other Sightseeing of Vaishali like Ashokan Pillar , Ananda Stupa , Abhishek Pushkaran , Buddha Stupas , Kutagar Shala Vihara and more.

    Drive continues to Patna. Check in to hotel. Have dinner and stay at night in Patna.

    Day 9 : Drop to Patna Airport

    After breakfast drive to Patna Airport to catch flight for onwards journey. Return with pleasant memories of Buddhist Trip.

  • Personal expenses such as laundry, telephone bills, bar bills, tips & gratuity, bottled water etc.
  • Entrance Fees for museums and monuments, Upgradation Charges and Optional Tours to be paid by the guests directly on the spot.
  • Any additional costs because of additional sightseeing or extra usage of vehicle other than mentioned in the itinerary will be recovered directly from the guests. Such additional costs are also applicable for usage of vehicle and guide beyond the specified time or normal working hours as mentioned above.
  • Any cost arising due to unforeseen events like flight delays or their rescheduling or cancellation, landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), etc. Such expenses will be recovered directly from the guests on the spot.
  • Any increase in government taxes or fuel price, leading to increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.

  • 30 days or more before date of departure : 25% of total cost
  • 29 - 20 days before date of departure : 50% of total cost
  • 19 days or less before date of departure : 100% of total cost

You or any member of your party may cancel their travel arrangements at any time. Written notification or an e-mail to that effect from the person who made the booking must be received at our office. The cancellation charges applicable are as per the published cancellation policy below:

Occasionally, we may have to make changes and we reserve the right to do so at any time. If there are any changes, we will advise you of them at the earliest possible date. We also reserve the right under any circumstances to cancel your travel arrangements by assigning reasons to you.
